EMCEE El Tornado made his way into the international hip hop scene in 2011 representing Rabat Morocco.

The capital city of the North African Kingdom of Morocco. 

When El Tornado became a Rap TV Member he had one question, why do we support Moroccan rap?

I gave him the short answer. They make good music for the people not for the industry.
This is the long answer.

The passion for music is as much a part of civilization as religion is.

Since the dawn of time, the human race has embraced song and rhythm in celebration and sorrow through victory and loss.

It has carried our stories of past times and our hopes for future times and given us a way to dream beyond our current reality.

It has inspired us and calmed us and lifted us up to heights we would not have believed possible before experiencing the sounds of psychological liberation through rhythm.

It's the platform for freedom and the open door to a deeper understanding of self and society alike.

In the place where passion and compassion intersect, there is an artist converting the moment into song.

In recent years the corrupting effect of commercialized combinations of rhythm and topic have flooded the airwaves with batch produced one hit wonders. 

In a world, hungry for the sort of songs you can get something strong out of we heard the sounds of a group of artists.

Who made music for the sake of making good music that meant something to the listeners.

A group who did not care about what the major record labels, shareholders thought about them.

They had a message to share and nothing else mattered to them. Stand up artists with powerful words and no radio play or television spots who had reached amazing levels of success taking their music straight to the listeners.

We want to see them continue their success.

We want to see them continue to inspire artists all over the world to make pure music from the heart.

The true story of the Moroccan Hip Hop movement and how it grew with the advancements in technologies, which introduced the world to higher levels of industry recognition. For years we could only imagin the highest level of recognition in the industry, was a RAAA diamond record and a Grammy Award.

That was until a King came along and introduced the first official Knights of Hip Hop.
