In the early years of Hip Hop in North America the ability to freestyle was the deciding factor in the level of quality of a rap artist. The stronger the freestyle the better the artist. 

grammarians have often argued that the usage of words and word orders in hip hop music are incorrect on such a scale that if aloud to continue. This trend will evolve to corrupt the very fabric of the english language and destroy any possibility of advancing communication skills in future generations of English speekers.

Well intentioned as they may be they are none the less mistaken. A large portion of the word usage in hip hop music is based on the earliest versions of the English language. A version of English from the time of the migration of the Vikings and the Norse speekers into the new world. The addition of the letter "a" after many of the words is a nood to a time when English and German where nearly the same language.
